Haim Chicken celebrated its 24th year anniversary this 2023. When it was started back in January 1999, it welcomed customers with its small nipa nuts and its signature original chicken inato dish cooked on a 2 x 4 square meter traditional barbecue grill. What used to be a small family-ran business is now a multiple-branch eatery that has inevitably become a household name in Palawan.

 

Haim Chicken was inspired from a Visayan recipe, which eventually evolved into a family-original recipe more popularly known as the “ha-im” sauce—a perfect balance and fusion of sweet and savory flavors that will definitely keep you coming back for more. This is exactly what makes Haim Chicken quite special. Just like the province where it hails from—Palawan, known for the kambak-kambak syndrome (“come-back, come-back”) — Haim Chicken has a similar effect on its customers. First-time customers whether local or tourist are drawn to come back to the restaurant whenever they visit Palawan, or whenever they have the chance.

For locals, dining at Haim Chicken has ultimately become a tradition, hence the tagline, “Sarap-Saya na Binabalik-balikan”.

Throughout the 20 years of operation, Haim Chicken was able to maintain its personal touch. It has remained the go-to place by all walks of Palaweños for many different occasions—from simple dinner dates to big family gatherings, from festive birthday parties to various other private events.
